Cover Options

Automatic Cover
All you need to do is pay for the full cost of your ticket with your BLUEBEAN Credit Card to receive automatic travel insurance, which provides cover for personal accident, emergency medical and related expenses as well as assistance services. You are guaranteed this cover, which is valid for 90 days, if you are under the age of 76 years.

Additional Cover
We often underestimate the benefits of taking out comprehensive travel insurance, that is why we have negotiated this additional cover at preferential rates to complement your automatic cover. Now you have a choice between three different levels of additional cover.

Additional cover provides additional emergency medical and related expenses cover and personal accident cover, as well as cover for baggage loss, baggage and travel delay, cancellation and curtailment and much more. Additional cover will ensure that you and your loved ones are adequately insured in an emergency. Cover is only available for travellers under the age of 76 years.

Pre-existing Illness Cover
This option can cover you if you have any medical condition for which you are receiving medical treatment or advice or for which treatment has been recommended before the start of your journey. You will need to be hospitalised as an in-patient following medical advice for more than 48 hours to claim this benefit. This benefit does not apply to travellers aged 75 and over.

Seniors Cover
We have a special policy exclusively developed for travellers who are 76 years to 85 years. Please refer to the Schedule of Benefits for details on the cover offered.

See the Schedule of Benefits for more details on the cover you will enjoy.
